Why We Built This Site
Michigan gives the public broad access to court records. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. The 13th Judicial Circuit Court handles felony, family, and higher-dollar civil cases for Leelanau County. The 86th District Court takes traffic citations, misdemeanors, and smaller civil claims. The County Clerk keeps vital records and circuit court files, while the Probate Court manages estates and guardianships. The Sheriff runs the jail roster and active warrants.
